"I believe that God has renewed my call to evangelism ministry during these great days of harvest."  Richard Vaughan

Richard Vaughan has served as a pastor and evangelist preaching in the U.S. and abroad since he answered the call to ministry in 1963. He served as a full time evangelist for seven years and pastored several churches before moving home to Southeast Texas and becoming the Senior Pastor of Fletcher Emanuel Church Alive in Lumberton, Texas. During his thirty-two years in Lumberton the church experienced tremendous growth, witnessed many miracles and spread the Gospel throughout Southeast Texas and around the world.

Prior to entering the ministry, Richard Vaughan graduated from Beaumont High School, served eight years in the U.S. Army Reserve, and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and Speech from East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas, along with a Masters of Theology, a Doctorate of Divinity and a Doctorate of Theology from Kingsway Theological Seminary in Des Moines, Iowa. He has been married to his wife, Annette, for over fifty years.

While pastor of Fletcher Emanuel Church Alive, Pastor Vaughan’s ministry included serving as:

     ·   Founder and Chancellor of East Texas Christian School

     ·   Founder and Chancellor of East Texas Theological Seminary

     ·   President of Worldwide Missions Fellowship

     ·   Serving for a decade on the advisory board of the Christian Educational Television Network

     ·   Produced a weekly television program called Church Alive which aired for twenty seven years concluding with his recent retirement

Since 1963 Pastor Vaughan has held more than 300 revivals and seen thousands of souls saved through the ministry God has given him. He believes that God has renewed his call to evangelism during these great days of harvest.  Opportunities await you to see your church baptized with a fresh anointing for souls. Pastor Vaughan is available to come on a love offering basis and can minister either in a single service or in an old fashioned revival style depending on the need of your particular church.

Pastor Vaughan along with Annette, his wife of more than 50 years, now reside in Lumberton, Texas where they enjoy spending their semi-retirement time with their two children, three grown grandchildren and a growing number of great grand children. Pastor Vaughan is now a member of Golden Triangle Church on the Rock and is also a part of Kingdom Expansion Resources, founded by Dr. R. L. Hammonds where he is used in the role of preaching ministry, television ministry, and evangelism.
